CorkSport is seeking an experienced Warehouse Specialist to support our Worldwide Mazda Community.

The ideal warehousing professional will leverage their previous experience to lead our end-to-end warehouse operations, labor, and productivity within our 18K sq. ft. of combined warehouse & production space. This is the perfect position for a current warehouse lead or an assistant manager. Specifically, the applicant will manage quality assurance, inventory management, shipping & receiving, as well as our production team assembling Mazda aftermarket performance parts. Strong leadership, time management, accountability, and communication skills are essential.

Our ideal candidate has 5 years of hands-on warehousing experience backed by success in a supervisor role, This means you are likely a warehouse lead actively managing  a small production unit, shipping & receiving crew, or an inventory control team. Your success will demand keen attention to detail and a solid track record of successful organization and planning. Further, the Warehouse Specialist will connect with people to ultimately support both our internal and external customer service models.

Responsibilities

Manage daily warehouse operations; including the assembly team, shipping & receiving, and quality control, as well as KPI reporting, addressing policy violations, and writing reviews.

  • Maintain safe and hazard free work environment, including cleanliness of workspaces and both warehouses.
  • Seamlessly shift priorities between pulling and etching hard parts for the production team, and managing day-to-day operations.
  • Increase inventory accuracy throughout the build process and prevent build errors during second sign process.
  • Own the location and organization of individual components, sub builds, and final assemblies within the warehousing space.
  • Analyze internal quality control trends to identify root-cause, develop, and implement procedures to reduce errors and costs.
  • Partner with purchasing to secure replacements/credits from vendors for units that fail QA.
  • Complete KPI reporting, identify improvement areas, and implement corrective action.
  • Manage warehouse, printing and box stock supplies, regularly lifting 25-50 lbs., up to 75 lbs.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, operations, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure a high-quality, end-to-end customer experience.
  • Act as a customer service conduit for processing and producing customer WOWs.
  • Support individual and team flexibility to take on and support all additional duties and work hours as requested/assigned, including OT.
  • Assist and reinforce CorkSport branding marketing through social media posting, and ad hoc content generation as needed.
  • Attend and support local Mazda Community Events.
  • Flexibility to take on additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

Experience Required

Clear, consistent, and effective written and verbal communication skills, with a natural ability in building relationships within all levels of the organization.

  • 5 years of hands-on warehousing experience backed by success in a management role
  • Proven track record of engaging in positive consistent interactions within a team and growing long-term relationships.
  • Managing & training small teams
  • Ability to organize, manipulate, and report the results of data analysis utilizing Excel,
  • Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously within a structured team environment and independently manage high-profile tasks.
  • History of using data to drive decisions in business with demonstrated attention to detail and organization needed plan consistent quality of work.

Bonus Skills/Experience

  • Experience with QuickBooks.
  • Direct experience in the automotive aftermarket with knowledge of the 2006 - 2013 Mazdaspeed 3/6 and 2014+ Mazda platforms highly desired.
