Position Summary: The Procurement Specialist is responsible for helping ensure the smooth functioning of ROBO's hardware and software purchasing process from quote to deployment. To be successful the Procurement Specialist should be detailed-oriented, process-focused, and passionate about technology, with the ability to operate independently and execute multiple responsibilities throughout the day with limited direct supervision.

  • Work Location: In-office in Vancouver, WA

Responsibilities

  • Manage Procurement Process: Oversee the entire procurement process from sales order to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders
  • Inventory Management: Track and maintain physical inventory levels and place orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock and minimize excess or obsolete inventory
  • Vendor Management: Keep track of, manage, and create new vendor relationships to ensure attractive pricing and timely and reliable order fulfilment
  • Quote Creation: Create and send quotes to customers, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, account management, technician, and accounting teams to ensure order accuracy, resolve any discrepancies, and ensure correct categorization and processing of expenses
  • Customer Expectations: Ensure that all customer expectations are met or exceeded through effective communication and problem-solving

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in purchasing, warehouse management, or hardware distribution
  • Previous IT ordering and technical background is a plus
  • An Associate's degree in a subject such as Business, Logistics, Purchasing, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, enthusiasm for following and optimizing standard operating procedures
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Prior experience with procurement management or ERP systems is preferred
