Description
Red Leaf Coffee is a locally
owned and fast-paced coffee drive-thru with an emphasis on gluten-free and low-carb
options. Started in 2008 with 1 espresso
stand in Woodland, WA the business has grown in popularity to multiple stores
in 4 cities due to loyal customers, dedicated employees and award-winning
coffee. In the first year of operation
upon expansion, Red Leaf won the Reader-s Choice Award from the Daily News for
the best coffee in the Kelso-Longview area in 2017 (and again in 2019 &
2020).
Store Manager position
We are currently looking
for a relationship-focused, action-oriented and driven Store Manager to provide
a positive and memorable experience for both our customers and team on a daily
basis. A big part of our success is
because we deliver over-the-top, friendly and inviting customer-service
experience in our stores. The Store
Manager often (up to 50% of their time) will also work on the floor as a
Barista, so it is important this person lead by example and help others in
real-time to overcome customer and store challenges.
The Store Manager will
create and maintain an exceptional culture level of service, product and model
Red Leaf-s Vision and Values. This position reports to the General Manager and directly
manages the Baristas, Barista trainer, Supervisors, and store team.
Responsibilities
- Act as a Role Model for outstanding customer service
- Provide guidance and leadership for team members
- Set the tone by consistently following store systems and standards at all times
- Follow all Red Leaf drink recipes and systems, maintaining high quality product standards
- Maintain a clean, organized and stocked store
- Effective communication amongst all team members
- Routinely meet individually to coach and develop team members for success
- Pro-active in solving customer concerns and exceeding customer expectations
- Hold the team accountable to achieving Operational and Store objectives
- Scheduling and Staffing
- Hiring and Firing Responsibilities, along with any employee documentation and corrective action
- Forecasting and meeting financial objectives (ordering, scheduling and store goals)
- Promote and practice safe work habits
- Manage and oversee ordering of supplies, coffee and bakery items
- Hold employee meetings (monthly team, 1-on-1, etc.) and team-building events
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months of coffee or Barista experience
- Strong leadership and communication qualities a must
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to work overtime (if pre-approved), including weekends, evenings and special events as needed
- Well-organized and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task
- This position will require long periods of standing and use of hands and arms
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs and frequently bend and twist from the waist
