Description

The Sales Account Executive is a dynamic revenue producer responsible for growing Digital Trends' sales business. This is a high-performing position where you'll join a high-performing sales team that pushes, supports, and rewards each other. We're seeking highly disciplined candidates with the personal motivation and drive to make a lot of money and where they will collaborate with the best sales team in the industry. This role involves identifying, prospecting, and closing new digital advertising opportunities across our suite of media properties, while maintaining strong relationships with a recurring book of business and providing white-glove customer service.

The ideal candidate must have a strong ability to identify revenue opportunities, build and maintain an active sales pipeline, and close business at volume. People looking for an easy job, lacking self-discipline, or without the intrinsic motivation to excel should not apply-low performers will be moved out quickly. We are looking for the best and will compensate and reward accordingly.

Responsibilities

* Coordinate internally with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Content, Ad Operations, Audience Development, Integrated Marketing, Affiliate, and Data to meet and execute on campaign objectives.

* Sell content and media campaigns across Digital Trends Media Group's suite of properties and capabilities.

* Respond to inbound opportunities and engage in proactive outreach.

* Develop client relationships through continued communication and strategic optimization.

* Build a book of accounts for long-term and repeat business, including a long account list with recurring commissions once you secure the business.

* Aim to deliver and exceed on all quarterly budget goals.

* Be an active participant in strategic planning and brainstorming.

* Manage timelines and delivery of sponsorship campaigns.

* Assist in IO and media plan creation.

* Pull research and analyze data to guide sound business decisions.

Qualifications

* Strong understanding of the digital media landscape

* 1-3 years digital experience in sales or account management

* Highly competitive with a strong desire to win as a part of a high-performance team

* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong negotiator

* Organized with impeccable attention to detail

* Takes radical accountability

* Ability to manage multiple projects, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure

* Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce

* Ability to work independently, accept direction and execute with precision

* Thrive in a fast-paced environment

* Holds themselves to the highest standard of integrity
