The Fellowship Program allows individuals to gain valuable insight into the marketing industry, learn how marketing businesses operate, hone their current skills, develop new skills, and potentially gain full-time employment after completing the program.

Employment Opportunity
After completing the Fellowship Program, Fellows may be asked to continue their tenure in a full-time role as a Marketing Coordinator with Raborn Media. However, full-time employment is not guaranteed and ultimately depends on the organization's needs and the Fellow's performance during the program. Full-time Marketing Coordinators can expect to earn between $40,000 and $50,000 annually.Benefits for Full-Time Employees

Responsibilities

  • Assists with projects and tasks that support general client initiatives and goals
  • Supports marketing strategies by helping ensure projects are delivered on time, on scope, and within budget
  • Develops and fosters a sense of trust and subject matter expertise with clients
  • Helps develop marketing strategies that align with client goals and specifications for all digital media, including website and social platforms, as well as print and mass media
  • Develops and presents creative briefs alongside Raborn Media Marketing Coordinators
  • Assists with the day-to-day maintenance and publishing of content on client social media accounts
  • Helps coordinate client projects and serves as a liaison between the client and Raborn Media-s creative team
  • Coordinates and tracks advertising schedules and marketing activities for assigned clients
  • Creates, assigns, and maintains tasks within project management software to ensure project milestones are met, the creative team understands their assignments, and projects are completed on time and in full
  • Provides constructive criticism on website, graphic design, branding, video, social media, copywriting, and other work
  • Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, and market trends.
  • Communicates with clients daily to ensure all of the client's needs are being met
  • Takes notes and transfers them to project management software to be used for direction for internal teams
  • Organizes, collaborates, and coordinates work between designers, developers, and video teams
  • Assist with copywriting tasks as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Must Have:
  • Authorization to work legally in the United States
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extraordinary attention to detail with an eye for catching small errors
  • The ability and willingness to learn project management tools and processes
  • Customer service experience and the willingness to go above and beyond to exceed clients' expectations
  • The ability to think critically to make informed and logical decisions independently
  • A team player mindset with a desire to learn and constantly grow your skillset
  • Strong organizational and copywriting skills
  • A knack for developing creative solutions to complex problems by thinking outside the box


Nice to Have:

  • Experience with the following: Asana, HubSpot, UI/UX, Social Media Platforms, Public Relations, Campaign Conception, and Email Marketing
  • A strong desire to work collaboratively with various teams to reach organizational goals
  • Crisis management experience
  • Experience working as a marketing coordinator, project coordinator, account manager, or similar role
  • Digital and traditional advertising experience
