Milestone Property Management has an available full-time position for an energetic, enthusiastic Leasing Agent at one of our Oregon City apartment communities. Please note that this position requires that you live on-site.If you possess the right qualifications, this position will include a full monthly rent credit in addition to hourly full-time compensation, PLUS group medical, paid time off, holidays and life insurance.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to focus on generating qualified prospective residents, have a passion for exceeding resident expectations, provide exceptional customer service, and be available to work Tuesdays through Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting potential renters and guiding them on tours of available apartment homes
  • Following up on leads and pre-qualifying potential renters
  • Confirm and process all rental applications using provided rental criteria and screening program
  • Preparing lease documents for potential renters according to company standards and regulations
  • Stay knowledgeable of the current rental market
  • Handling collection of rent payments, security deposits and application fees
  • Provide positive, personalized customer service to current residents
  • Assist Community Manager with day-to-day activities

Qualifications


  • At least one full year of proven Property Management Leasing experience and strong customer service skills

  • Demonstrated experience in multi-family leasing and marketing

  • Superior organizational, telephone and verbal & written communication skills

  • A professional appearance and the ability to communicate effectively and articulately.

  • Basic computer skills - Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Tenant Tech and AppFolio (or other industry-based database software)

  • Availability to work weekends, as scheduled work week is from Tuesday through Saturday

  • Strong, dependable work ethic and positive attendance history,

  • Follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback in improve performance.

  • Knowledge of Federal, State and Local Fair Housing Law

  • Superior organizational, telephone and verbal & written communication skills

  • A professional appearance and the ability to communicate effectively and articulately.

  • Availability to work weekends, as scheduled work week is from Wednesday through Sunday.

  • Strong, dependable work ethic and positive attendance history, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback in improve performance.

  • Knowledge of Federal, State and Local Fair Housing laws.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (proof of insurance required)

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Pass pre-employment background check
