Schedule:

Monday - Friday

Hours Typically between 07:00AM - 06:00PM


Compensation:

$52,000 - $55,000 per year

This is a salary position with observed holidays off.

Observed Holidays: New Years Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day.

Position Overview:

The Fleet Technician will be responsible for the following areas,


Maintain Vehicle Fleet

- Keep vehicles in good working order, ready for 24/7 use

- Maximize vehicle availability to enable smooth operations and excellent value to clients


Support Logistics Teams

- Remain available to complete support tasks

- Use excellent prioritization and communication skills


All uniforms (Work Shirts, Pants and/or Coveralls) and tools necessary to do the job will be provided.


Responsibilities

Vehicle Maintenance:

Perform routine vehicle maintenance not limited to tire rotations, oil change, and the like


Perform vehicle repairs as required in the following areas:

- Braking systems (Pads & Rotors)

- Cooling systems (Water Pump, Hoses, Radiator, Thermostat)

- Drivetrain (Transmission/CVT Fluid & Filter, CV Axle, Wheel Bearings)

- Suspension (Struts, Control Arms, End Links, Tie Rods)

- Ignition system (Spark Plugs, Coils)

- Belt Drive system (Serpentine Belt, Idler, Pulleys)


Identify and report vehicle-related issues


Remain aware of any vehicle damage, check against records and report discrepancies


Document all vehicle maintenance, supply levels and life-expectancy concerns.


Maintain all auto-related items neatly and in good order;


Report safety concerns


Logistics Support

Complete support tasks as assigned in any gaps between vehicle maintenance and repair


Work efficiently to get things done and/or let team know when a task will take some time


Qualifications

- Skills and experience in auto repair and auto maintenance

- Ability to deliver excellent customer care internally

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet or beat deadlines with little to no error

- Excellent verbal communication, even under stress

- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, judgement, problem-solving skills

- Excellent time management skills

- Clean driving record
