Job Summary:
As the VIP Program Coordinator, you
will support a case load of youth (aged 14-21) who are enrolled at Rosemary
Anderson High School (RAHS). The Program Coordinator provides one-on-one
participant meetings, student support services, personal development skills,
and education intervention for students. This challenging and rewarding role is
heavily case management and client engagement focused, with some grant
management and data collection/reporting responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Works with students to connect them with POIC+RAHS programs that may include: after-school activities, tutoring, employment and training services, parenting education services, mentoring, and juvenile justice prevention/intervention services
- Collaborates with POIC + RAHS colleagues to measure and report student growth in areas such as credit attainment, school engagement, discipline incidents and school attendance where applicable
- Serves as liaison between assigned students, their families, additional support programs, and our program
- Meets with each individual student monthly
- Conducts Quarterly Individual Success Plan updates
- Adheres to documentation requirements, including but not limited to accurate data entry into student files, ISP-s, weekly/monthly reports, and case notes
- Collects, analyzes, and reports on outcomes
- Monitors grant requirements to ensure contracted goals are met
- Forms and maintains positive working relationships with community stakeholders
- Ensures budgetary compliance and submits any required documents or reports on time and complete
- Weighs in on strategic plans for the department that relate to the future of youth and parent/family involvement programming and community engagement
Qualifications
Personal Requirements:
- Ability to assess risk factors, protective factors, personal and evaluation needs to develop appropriate individual interventions or case plans
- Ability to build effective, trusting relationships with young people and parents
- Ability to identify and appropriately engage adolescents with mental health, drug and alcohol issues
- Strong writing skills
- Driver-s license, access to a personal vehicle and the ability to meet our insurability requirements
Experience/Education Requirements:
- Bachelor-s degree required or equivalent
- 3 or more years of experience providing case management services
- Experience providing outreach, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution skills with youth and families
- Experience recruiting and maintaining program participants
- Experience working with communities of color
