Description
Job Title: Site Superintendent
Job Summary: The Site Superintendent oversees all on-site construction activities,
coordinating subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans and quality standards, and
maintaining a safe working environment. They manage schedules, resolve issues, and
communicate progress to clients, while also enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular
inspections. With a keen eye for detail and strong leadership skills, they play a pivotal role in
ensuring the successful completion of construction projects accurately and on schedule.

Compensation Package is dependent on experience in Site Superintendent role.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily on-site operations, including scheduling, coordination, and supervision of subcontractors and trades
- Read, interpret and ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, schedules and safety regulations
- Monitor progress and quality of work, addressing any issues or delays promptly
- Collaborate with project managers and office staff to ensure project objectives are met
- Update and review all project information in Builder Trend (checklists, pictures, schedules, etc.)
- Maintain accurate records of construction activities, materials, and equipment
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment
- Provide regular reports and updates to project stakeholders
- Supervise material deliveries from vendors
- Implement and enforce safety protocols per OSHA standards
- Schedule and conduct inspection meetings with Inspectors
- Review work from previous day to ensure accuracy
- Secure jobs sites each day/night
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of previous experience working residential/commercial construction, and/or
- experience managing construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and in compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Familiarity with residential design and build processes including reading blueprints, interpreting construction drawings and understanding architectural plans.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Attention to detail to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
- Physically able to climb stairs, climb ladders, bend, stoop and reach
- Physically able to move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 LBS
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. We cover all areas of Central Oregon, including: Bend, La Pine, Madras, Prineville, Redmond and Sisters
- Ability to adapt to a work schedule ranging from 45-50 hours per week as required to fulfill responsibilities
- Familiarity with local building codes, and permitting processes related to residential construction
- Background checks are required upon employment
