We are currently looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and
task-driven Project Administrator/Contract Specialist to handle all the
pertinent construction documents and paperwork related to our projects. From the start of each project, the Project
Administrator/Contract Specialist works closely with the Program and Project
Managers to understand the timelines and ensure all documentation is processed
and completed within the time-frames set forth. This position is located in our
Salem, Oregon office. Construction
experience is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate, prepare and generate all project procurement documents
- Collect, compile, review and organize monthly program reports from PMs
- Receive, record and facilitate recommendations for processing payment requests
- Ensure adherence to procurement requirements and HMK processes
- Correspond with clients and subconsultants
- Various administrative tasks to support the Project Team
- Understand the importance of priorities for the projects and act on the most important tasks
- Must take the initiative to connect with PMs and other project members to collect the correct data and info.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office products
- Multi-task and prioritize competing requests
- Deliver quality through attention to detail
- Ability to learn and use a variety of software, tools and systems
- Knowledge of construction industry terminology and documents is preferred
- Collaborate and communicate within a team, internally and externally
- Must be organized and thorough
