Description
Our established development company is
growing, and we are seeking a General Manager (GM). The right candidate will be able to lean
on years of experience and, more importantly, bring a drive and sense of
urgency to the position. You will oversee every aspect of the business
including project planning, budgeting, implementation, training, code
compliance, estimating, contract preparation and negotiation, bank draws and
project close-out.
We specialize in multi-family
renovation, repair, and construction.
Responsibilities
The best candidates will be
comfortable-
- Overseeing all aspects of project from planning to
implementation
- Allocating resources for assigned projects
- Supervising onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Interfacing with project inspectors, contractors,
architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
- Negotiating with contractors.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship that adhere
to original plans
- Leveraging your previous experience in construction
management or other related fields
- Interfacing with construction management software
- Exhibiting leadership qualities
- Meeting Deadlines and focusing on the
details
Qualifications
Key Qualifications:
-
Bachelor-s degree in
Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

4+ years commercial
construction, general contracting and/or restoration experience required.

3+ years project
management or construction operation management experience.

Outstanding management
skills, demonstrated leadership, and fiscal management experience.

Ability to effectively
delegate and also self perform

Maintain a -big
picture- strategic view with an ability to solve problems.

Ability to translate
policies into daily routine operations.

Self-assured,
confident, and goal oriented.

Motivational practices
and excellent presentation skills.
