POSITION SUMMARY:

The POIC Kitchen Delivery Driver will be responsible for the daily delivery of meals to all Rosemary Anderson campuses

SCHEDULE: M-F 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM, Subject to change depending on department needs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

-      Drivers must be at least 18 years old.

-      A clean driving record: Safety is our priority. You'll also need a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

-      Driver will be responsible for loading and unloading cargo.

-      Strong sense of direction: Be able to read a map and find your way around a delivery area.

-      Basic math skills.

-      Friendly, with great customer service skills.

-      Take delivery instructions from supervisors.

-      Chart out the appropriate route for delivery on the map or GPS.

-      Maintain proper knowledge of loaded items.

-      Ensure that appropriate and complete documentation is available at the time of loading.

-      Drive the vehicle to the point of delivery by using the best possible route.

-      Make sure that speed limits are adhered to in order to ward off possible misadventures.

-      Conduct inspections of vehicles before departing to deliver goods.

-      Performs other duties as assigned.
