Responsibilities

• Assist with estimating and preconstruction, while learning to read drawings, summarize scope, perform quantity takeoffs, and coordinate quotes
• Support project management tasks such as submittals, schedules, and document control
• Help with design-build coordination, drawing QA/QC, and scope narratives
• Participate in field engineering activities, jobsite visits, RFIs, and field observations
• Learn RFP writing by creating a capstone presentation and presenting to a team communicating project approach and big ideas
• Attend lunch-and-learns, operations meetings, and jobsite tours

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Strong interest in construction and the building process
• Organized, curious, and eager to learn
• Dependable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability/willingness to drive long distances as required
• Field experience (not required, but added benefit)
• Good computer skills, proficient at Microsoft Office
