Computers Made Easy (powered by ROBO) started in 1995 in Vancouver, WA, building and servicing custom computers. Years later, we are a recognized leader in IT management solutions, offering state-of-the-art technology and award-winning customer service that has helped to grow our business throughout Washington, Oregon and California. Computers Made Easy has developed into a Managed Service Provider (MSP) for over 200 clients, handling the IT needs of small and mid-sized companies. Recently CME merged with another MSP (ROBO) in Austin, TX which has expanded the client base quite extensively.

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team. This hybrid role involves working both in our office and at client locations. This role will require setting up of desktops and laptops, providing basic IT support and ensuring seamless technology operations for our clients. This person spends more than half of their time onsite with our clients, with the remaining time spent helping our Helpdesk and Hardware teams with tickets, set-up and deployment. This role requires someone who is prepared, organized, documents their work and has effective communication skills in order to be successful.

Responsibilities

  • Be available to travel on-site to various clients while working from CME headquarters in Vancouver
  • Deliver, install and configure, laptops, routers, monitors, firewalls, etc. at client sites
  • Troubleshoot and assess client issues with urgency, and deliver appropriate mitigation plan
  • Hardware support for clients, in office and on-site
  • IT Support involving core business application and operating systems, as well as virtual environments
  • Coordinate with Helpdesk Team to support clients
  • Connect with ROBO 3rd parties to help troubleshoot issues
  • Monitor calendar, email and schedule with real-time updates
  • Responsible for entering all work as service tickets and time as it occurs with accuracy
  • Maintain documentation and the resolution procedures for future reference
  • Communicate with clients on ticket status
  • Creation of new users and equipment acquisition

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in IT Support, preferably with MSP
  • Certifications in IT is highly preferred (A+ Certified, Network Plus, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously
  • Problem-solver with an urgency to meet deadlines
  • Task-driven and results-focused
  • Experience with Microsoft Office required
  • Active Directory experience required
  • Colo and/or Cloud experience preferred
  • Know ins-and-outs of a Windows PC (Hardware and Operating System)
