seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team
and lead our engineering department to new heights.
Position
Overview: As the
Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all engineering
activities within our organization. You will guide a team of talented engineers
and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive the successful
development and delivery of our aviation products. The ideal candidate will
possess a background in aerospace engineering with an ability to lead a team to
achieve higher efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities
- Prioritize projects, resources and tasks
- Hold Engineering Team accountable to budget, timeline and quality standards
- Ensure projects are aligned with company objectives and goals
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement and learning
- Provide accurate Forecasting for the Engineering Department
- Work with Subject Matter Experts to develop SOPs
- Hold Engineering team accountable to SOPs
- Understand and ensure regulatory compliance related to FAA projects
- Work through customer feedback for product improvements or innovations
- Work within ERP system or Smartsheets (utilize dashboard for projects)
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with engineering projects, implementing appropriate measures to minimize potential impact
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for engineering team members, providing feedback and identifying opportunities for professional growth and development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace engineering or similar field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Strong technical expertise in aviation engineering principles and practices
- Proven track record of successfully leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards, such as FAA regulations, is highly desirable
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
