Description

Milestone Property Management is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Property Accounting Clerk to join our team. This full-time position plays a key role in supporting property operations by performing essential accounting and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Maintain accurate tenant ledgers and payment records
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Assist with monthly and year-end reporting
  • Provide accounting support to property management staff

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping required (property management experience preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or similar)
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
