Description

Axiom Sewers is seeking an experienced foreman/crew-leader to oversee the installation of underground residential sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and similar excavation projects with preferred experience working within City of Portland and the surrounding Metro area while successfully leading a crew.

Responsibilities

  • Installation of sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and other excavation similar projects to specification and code

  • Supervise and lead crew members effectively, ensuring workers adhere to construction plans and safety guidelines

  • Coordinate and layout each job for efficient and effective completion

  • Work closely with project manager to keep projects on schedule and on budget

  • Operate heavy machinery with skill and safety (ie, varying sizes of excavators, skid steers, etc)

  • Read drawings, understand layout, and maintain grades

  • Professionally communicate and interact with crew, management team, and inspectors

Qualifications

  • Must have extensive experience in residential sewers within City of Portland

  • 5 years experience or more installing residential sewers, storm, and waterlines preferred.

  • 5 years experience operating + hauling heavy machinery

  • 1 year experience or more foreman/crew lead experience

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record

  • CDL (a huge plus)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Works with integrity

  • Dependability is a must
