We are seeking a skilled and service-oriented Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain the highest standards of quality and comfort.

Position Summary: As a Facilities Maintenance Technician I, you will be responsible for maintaining the property's overall physical condition, ensuring everything operates smoothly, safely, and beautifully. You will work closely with the property management team to deliver outstanding service and a pristine

Responsibilities

  • Check building systems for proper function, notify appropriate staff if system not functioning correctly. Systems may include trash chute, trash compactor, HVAC airflow and temperature monitoring, building access systems, property recreation areass, etc.
  • Clean/maintain building trash rooms and trash chute system.
  • Respond promptly to service requests from residents and management.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and well-maintained living environment for residents.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Maintain common areas, amenities, and grounds to luxury standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and building codes.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors when specialized services are needed.
  • Assist with turnover of apartments, including painting, cleaning, and basic repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
  • Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in residential or commercial facilities maintenance, preferably in a luxury setting.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with a team and independently, and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties as required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
