N8 Excavation - Project Manager

N8 is located in East County, Portland Oregon doing work throughout the county and beyond.

Position Description

We are looking for a driven, action-oriented and practical Project Manager to ensure the timely and profitable completion of our projects by overseeing all phases of the work. The PM is responsible for increasing revenue and profit through efficiency, organization and accounting of N8 projects. This role is primarily in the office, but the PM must visit job sites during the week to check on project progress to communicate with Foreman and field staff.

Responsibilities

Allocate, verify and track all costs on the project noting any differences (in Heavy Jobs)
Purchase, order and deliver materials on-site
Follow scope of work and make sure Foreman and team are on-time and on-budget
Develop and maintain project schedule (in Microsoft Projects) and work with Foreman to complete project
Job progress updating, gathering and documenting of information
Capture, create and complete change orders
Distribute resources appropriately for projects (materials, equipment, people) and react to problems that arise
Ability to bid on project work and change orders (in Heavy Bids)
About 25% of the time in the field, 75% in the office
Manage sub-contractors schedule and cost
Weekly meeting to discuss project progress with Stakeholders or Owners

Qualifications

At least 3+ years of Construction or Excavation experience
At least 3+ years of Project Management experience
Task-driven
Ability to meet deadlines
Must be organized and detail-oriented
PM Software experience preferred
