Excellent opportunity for a CNC Machinist with -The Right Stuff- to join a team working in the Aerospace & Defense industry on extremely unique and exciting projects using exotic metals and manufacturing techniques. Candidates must have a keen attention to detail and the desire to complete the work on time and to the precise tolerances expected. Responsibilities
Setup and operate CNC lathes, mills, EDM's and other precision manufacturing equipment
-Evaluate tooling, processes and materials
-Evaluate and choose cutting tools for specific materials and processes
-Understand feed rates, cutting speeds, depth of cuts
-Knowledgeable of material properties
-Knowledgeable of layout and machining procedures
-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
-Keep work area clean and free of safety hazards
-Other duties as assigned
-Work performed in a shop environment
-Exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils
