NurserySource is a privately held Damascus, OR company that was founded in 2006 and later renamed Rediroot. We develop and supply high quality, innovative nursery and gardening products that enable growers to achieve better results. We are intensely driven to help growers succeed!
NurserySource is seeking an action-oriented, practical and driven Operations Assistant to help facilitate sales, logistics and fulfilment for our company. The primary contribution of this role to the company is to bring a focused approach to organization, an attention to detail and a desire to assist in the growth of the company. The right candidate will need to effectively and efficiently complete tasks with urgency, along with excellent follow-up and follow-through. Part of this role is to help the CEO and other departments with scheduling, emails and other related items.
Responsibilities
- Manage calendars, emails, and CRM
- Internal sales support and follow-up (typing of quotes and sending them out)
- Processing, fulfilment and shipping of orders
- Manage eCommerce process
- Customer, Distributor and Supplier communications and scheduling
- Send out product samples
- Research for sales and products
- Update product catalogues
Qualifications
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and Power Point)
- Demonstrate ability to manage several operational processes simultaneously
- 2 personal and professional character references
