Company Overview:Proudly providing K-12 Technology Services across the Midwest since 1997. Quality Network Solutions has the technology services to keep schools safe and up-to-date for K-12 students across multiple states and school districts.
Position Summary:The Regional IT Account Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Customer business-level strategic relationships, then utilizing and building on these partnerships to better understand customers' business goals and objectives. The Regional IT Account Manager is responsible for establishing technology budgeting and strategic roadmaps for Customers that reduce business risk and facilitate technology improvements across the business. Although not a true sales role, this person must be comfortable presenting and closing large solutions and projects to our school district clients. There is an aspect of Business Development that is incorporated into this position with the ability to earn additional compensation in the forms of bonuses and commissions.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular onsite Technology Business Reviews with customers
- Maintain frequent phone and email contact with customers, building relationships
- Develop, plan and execute a strategic roadmap profile for each customer
- Design and present technology proposals with decision-makers
- Establish clear and precise business and alignment objectives for each customer
- Provide the Project Team with a backlog of project work opportunities
- Maintain customers' technology budgets
- Provide a high level of customer and user satisfaction
- Contribute to the maintenance of QNS standards library and participate in Standards and Alignment Committee
- Develop objectives and help define the roles and functions of internal team members
- Deliver accurate reports and metrics to Company management on the status and performance of Company tools and applications
Qualifications
- Advanced qualifications in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- Ability to quote, present and close IT solutions
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT and telecommunications infrastructure, hardware, and software applications
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of network and server/workstation operating systems
- Demonstrated history of strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- High-level organizational, project management, coordination, and prioritization skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and self-learning
- Able to work well both independently, but also within a team environment
- A high degree of confidentiality
- Professional personal presentation
- Awareness of and ability to work following Company Policies and Procedures
