Our diverse product line, which includes more than 100 different species of trees and shrubs, serves the horticulture, reforestation, mitigation, and reclamation industries. If you're a hands-on leader who is passionate about maintaining a complex operation, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and Repair: You will be fully responsible for the maintenance and repair of all farm equipment, company vehicles, facilities, and irrigation systems. This includes basic plumbing and electrical work, as well as intermediate to advanced mechanical repairs.

  • Maintenance Management: Take complete ownership of the company's work order system, maintain accurate and timely maintenance and repair records, and champion a strong preventative maintenance program.

  • Vendor Relations: Seek out and manage cost-effective vendors for more complex or specialized repairs.

  • Safety and Training: Conduct all work safely, efficiently, and effectively. You will also be responsible for training team members on the proper use and maintenance of all new and existing machinery.

  • Workspace Management: Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.

Qualifications

  • A valid driver's license is required, with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.

  • Strong mechanical skills, including experience with basic electrical, plumbing, and welding.

  • Proven ability to manage maintenance schedules and work order systems.

  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Must be willing to work extended hours during peak seasons.

  • Capable of lifting over 50 pounds.

  • A professional demeanor and appearance.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products is a plus.
