Position: Electrical Foreman
We are looking for an action-oriented and practical team-builder
to ensure projects are completed on-time and under-budget. In this role it is critical to support the
necessary relationships required to drive towards the most efficient and
effective close-out of every project.
The Electrical Foreman needs to know the scope, value and where each
project is in the process and what is left to finish to meet company standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead team members towards
safety procedures and culture
- Create and update 3-week project
schedule
- Track all project details on
at least a weekly basis (installs, scheduling, relationships,
profitability)
- Invest in project planning at
the start is critical to minimize errors
- Solving project issues that
arise and look ahead to avoid challenges
- Build trust and relationships
with team-members and customers
- Maintain and promote company
culture - act as a player-coach, but still the manager/leader
- Supervise, train, and encourage
team members
- Promote efficiencies and quality
of installs
- Schedule and manage manpower for
each project
- Document control to improve
performance and productivity
- Daily reporting to GC/Superintendent
Qualifications
- Proficient in computer skills such as but not limited to Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Bluebeam, Procore, etc.
- Current State of Oregon General Journeyman License
- 4+ years of experience as a construction foreman
- Desire and ability to lift and lead others to success
- Knowledge of construction best practices, equipment maintenance, and use, and OSHA guidelines
- Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints and convey this information to others
- Aptitude in math and strong problem-solving abilities
- Good physical condition and stamina
