Position: Project Manager
Position Summary: The York Bros. Excavation Project Manager works to bring effective planning, communication, and management to the completion of York Bros. projects. This position plays a key role in tracking projects from beginning to end, identifying and communicating diversions to plan to both company management and the owner/owner representative. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, tracking and timeliness of the multiple construction contracts York Bros. engages in. This role is mostly in our office, with about 25% of the time spent in the Field.

Responsibilities
- Organize and create project schedules and budgets based on input from superintendents
- Review plans and contracts
- Maintain and update project records and report weekly on project progress
- Monitor project progress and adherence to cost and quality standards
- Liaison between the Field and Engineer of Record
- Liaison between Field and Owner Representative
- Understand all construction specifications and assist Project Team in adhering to them
- Coordinate change order creation and management
- Attend all project meetings with Stakeholders, including OAC meetings
- Drive the close-out of projects with Project Team and Inspectors ensuring completion
- Provide progress billing data to accounting department to facilitate monthly customer invoicing
- Review subcontractor and supplier billings for accuracy
- Need to understand city and county laws, regulations and standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor-s degree in civil engineering or construction degree preferred
- 3-5 years of Construction Management or Project Management experience required
- Ability to read, understand, and follow construction plans
- Accountable and willing to build culture of accountability throughout the organization
- Strong communicator
- Team-player
- Commitment to success of organization
