Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Assist outside CPA with year end financials and tax
returns
- Serve as a coach and mentor to staff, providing hands
on leadership and career development opportunities
- Support daily and month/quarter/year end accounting
activities.
- Handle advanced financial reporting functions.
- Interface with lenders to secure financing.
- Review/Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and
financial statements
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Ideally, a college degree in accounting or related
field; CPA a plus.
- 3+ years of public accounting experience including
supervisory responsibilities.
- Understanding of GAAP
- Real Estate development and construction background
preferred
- Proficient with ERPs and Excel; able to learn new
systems quickly
- Experience working with lenders a plus
- Construction and job costing preferred
- Detail oriented and organized problem solver
