Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced (4+ years) and skilled Site Superintendent to oversee the construction of a new project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Must have experience in multi-family construction (podium experience a plus) and a proven track record of managing subcontractors and field staff.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the construction process, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, construction codes, and project specifications.
- Manage and coordinate construction activities, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the project manager and other stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are progressing as planned.
- Conduct daily or weekly site meetings to communicate with team members, discuss progress, and address any concerns.
- Manage and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to OSHA regulations and ensuring all workers are properly trained.
- Oversee performance of of all trade partners and review architectural and engineering drawings to make sure that all specifications and regulations are being followed.
- Assist in maintaining records of job changes, including option orders and purchase orders.
- Assist in the maintenance of a clean job site for sub-contractors
- Strong understanding of commercial building codes and the ability to build in accordance to code
- Build effective relationships with inspectors and city officials.
- Coordinate with Property Management Team regarding quality and walk-through preparation of buildings/units for move in.
- Ability to effectively manage oneself and others in conflict situations.
- Review change documents to subcontractors/suppliers and assist in collecting priding and/or preparing change proposal requests for internal pricing review
