Description

Construction Project Manager (onsite)

Locally based developer seeking individuals to manage large new construction and renovation projects in Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA.

We have been building, renovating, and managing apartments for over 20 years and are looking for experienced, dynamic, motivated, and hardworking individuals to oversee the day-to-day operations of upcoming multi-family construction projects.

We are in the process of expanding our portfolio of properties and will be breaking ground on several new large projects in 2022.

You will oversee project execution, scheduling, budgeting, and contracts. If you can work with minimal supervision, coordinate subcontractors, read and follow drawings and specifications, and ensure all timelines are met, then we want to talk to you about taking a leadership role with us. We are looking for a principal, not an employee.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the construction project
Ensure project timeline/schedule is strictly maintained
Allocate and schedule all resources
Supervise onsite subcontractors and employees
Manage all subcontractors
Interface with in-house architect, inspectors, engineers, and clients
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to plans and specifications
Continuously look for ways to increase efficiency and/or reduce total project cost

Qualifications

Previous experience in construction project management or other related fields
Ability to understand and implement engineering and other architectural drawings
Strong leadership qualities with a sense of urgency and attention to details
Exceptional Communication Skills
Basic Computer Skills, especially MSOffice products
Deadline and detail-oriented
Not a 9-5 employee
Not a remote position

Salary: $90K DOE
