Position Description
We are looking for a driven, practical and experienced Superintendent to run our field operations and support our Project Foremen for ultimate success. This is a very important role at N8 Excavation and crucial to our company's future. The Superintendent will oversee the Project Foreman and their performance on all N8 projects and provide leadership to deliver expected client results. This role will work directly with the Executive Team and implement company objectives and priorities.
Salary is dependent upon experience with Benefits and 401K.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Project Foremen have resources to complete all jobs, on-time and on-budget
- Contribute to and manage strategic goals as directed by Executive Team
- Develop a communication plan among the field teams and promote teamwork and positive coordination throughout the Company
- Support project planning, estimating and pre-construction
- Provide direction on general conditions, scheduling and constructability
- The Superintendent will also work closely with project mangers on projects to ensure success
- Oversee Foremen and team performance on all N8 projects through site visits, meetings, training, company procedures, best practices, regular coordination and mentoring
Qualifications
- 5+ years of successful construction management experience
- Familiar with all types of excavation equipment
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Strong work ethic, willing to work long days when needed
- Proven ability of leading teams
- Track-record of success and results
