Position Summary: JetRock is seeking a solution-oriented Analytics Developer to join our team. This role is critical to our success in being able to transform complex data from the Energy Industry into actionable reports and insights using Python and cutting-edge BI tools. This allows the companies we work with to not only better understand their business today, but allow them to make the best strategic decisions going forward based on the analytics.

Responsibilities
- Develop robust Python scripts for data processing, analysis, and workflow automation
- Engage with clients to understand their needs, gather requirements and report on project progress
- Create compelling, interactive dashboards using PowerBI or Spotfire that tell data-driven stories
- Explore and implement AI models like GPT-4o and Claude 3.5 Sonnet to enhance analytics capabilities
- Hold regular client meetings, being responsive and with an urgency to complete tasks
- Manage multiple clients and projects, ensuring effective prioritization
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience writing production-grade Python code
- Proficiency in creating BI dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, or Spotfire)
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or related field
- Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business worlds
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Experience with R, SQL, Git, Azure, Databricks, or Docker is helpful
- Domain knowledge of the energy industry is helpful, specifically Oil & Gas and/or Renewables
