Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team. This hybrid role involves working both in our office and at client locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up desktops and laptops, providing basic IT support, and ensuring seamless technology operations for our clients. To be successful, the candidate must be well prepared, organized, ability to document work activity, and have excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

On-Site Support

  • Travel to client locations as needed for troubleshooting, installations, and project work
  • Work from the ROBO office in Wichita Falls when not on-site

Desktop and Laptop Deployment

  • Install, configure, and deploy desktops and laptops
  • Ensure required hardware, operating systems, and software are properly set up and tested

Remote Support

  • Provide remote support for Microsoft 365 services including user accounts, email, Teams, OneDrive and Sharepoint
  • Assist users with login issues, email configurations, and basic application troubleshooting

Documentation and Scheduling

  • Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, resolved issues, and deployed equipment
  • Monitor calendar, email, and schedules with real-time updates

Collaboration

  • Work closely with other team members to deliver consistent and comprehensive support

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on IT support experience
  • Experience providing on-site and remote technical support in a client-facing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting desktops and laptops
  • Working experience with Microsoft 365, including user accounts, email, Teams, OneDrive, and basic SharePoin
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts such as DHCP, DNS, and WiFi
  • Ability to clearly document work and maintain accurate ticket notes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred:

  • Experience working in an MSP environment
  • Familiarity with ticketing, RMM, and PSA tools
  • Exposure to Azure AD or Entra ID
  • Experience supporting virtual environments such as Hyper-V or VMware
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications
