Since 2002, Performance Race Engineering has been a consistent leader in automotive aftermarket sales and service in the Pacific Northwest. Our priority is to provide our clients with high quality products and excellent service as we customize and build their personal vehicle for speed and agility. We seek hard-working, dedicated team players who share our enthusiasm for motorsports. Our sales and service writers must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, display exceptional troubleshooting skills, and illustrate excellent customer service and communication skills. Candidates will also demonstrate a thorough understanding of aftermarket, high-performance automotive systems and how to apply them to our clients' projects. A friendly and team-minded attitude is a must.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Greet customers in person and on the phone in a prompt and courteous manner

- Schedule appointments and maintain a balanced work schedule for technicians

- Accept and document customer payments and other financial transactions

- Provide accurate estimates of cost and time for work requested

- Build accurate, thorough work orders for large customer projects

- Handle customer concerns professionally and maintain high customer satisfaction

- Monitor progress of projects and maintain communication with customer regarding changes to estimate or time frame

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications:

- 1 to 2 years automotive service writer experience

- 1 year customer service related work experience

- Personal interest in motorsports

- Automotive racing experience
