My ADU (formerly Shaffer Inc.) is a small, local and family business that utilizes over 30 years of building experience to design and develop quality custom homes with a variety of amenities and floor layouts in Vancouver and Clark County. WA Over the past few years we have built a division of our business that focuses exclusively on Accessory Dwelling Units or "ADUs-. Position Summary

We are currently hiring a Company Administrator to help with our growing business. As we expand, the need for additional office personnel has become a necessity to handle our current workload and free up staff to focus on other initiatives. We are looking for a detailed, reliable, practical and driven individual to help with daily company and office duties.If you have experience in this type of work or role, please submit your resume and take our 10-minute assessment to see if this could be a fit!

This is not a remote position, in the office but hours can be flexible. This role could grow and expand with the right person.

Responsibilities

  • Complete office and admin. duties for the company
  • Process internal requests for information and invoices/billing
  • Simple Accounting - A/R, A/P
  • Filing papers and documents
  • Schedule upcoming site visits
  • Permit applications - preparation and submittals
  • Help to run property reports
  • Sales tasks - assist with sales, answering calls, capture info. for reports
  • Communication with clients and potential clients (phone and email)
  • Some marketing work - maintain social media posts

Qualifications

  • Accounting/Bookkeeping experience preferred, not required
  • Residential or Construction experience preferred, but not required
  • Quickbooks desktop and online experience preferred, but not required
  • Organized and efficient worker
  • Self-directed with good follow-up and follow-through
