Milestone Property
Management currently has a position for an experienced Community Manager for four
multi-family apartment communities (total of 111 units) in the Salem area.
Ideal candidates for this position must have a minimum of 2
solid years of recent apartment management experience and be able to work as
part of a team and independently.
Compensation is from $24 to $26 an hour with on-site living option, depending upon experience level, and includes GREAT BENEFITS, such as group medical, dental, vision, holidays, personal paid time off and mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall
day-to-day operational and financial aspects of multifamily residential
properties with the goal of maximizing successful operations and rent
collection for the properties
- Manage and maintain properties
in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and property management
agreements
- Marketing and leasing
rental units, including keeping up to date on market rent, other neighborhood/area
competition and developments and reputation management
- Assist with
accomplishing financial objectives for the investment with particular emphasis
and focus on "value add" opportunities
- Rent collection and
delinquency control/follow-up
- Manage and maintain
accurate and up-to-date records, resident information and maintenance data
- Enforcing property
policies, rules & regulations
- Ensuring all work
orders and repair requests are processed in a timely fashion
- Inspecting, scheduling
and preparation of vacant apartment homes for new occupants
- Supervise, schedule and collaborate with area maintenance technician
- Foster pride of place
and sense of community with residents
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 solid
years of recent apartment management experience (required) with strong emphasis
on leasing, marketing and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional oral and
written communication skills, with ability to develop engaging content for
marketing available apartment homes
- Must be able to work
independently, and as part of a supportive, collaborative team
- Ability to multitask,
organize and prioritize
- Knowledgeable of
Oregon Landlord Tenant Law
- Possess a thorough
knowledge and practice of Fair Housing Laws
- Proficient in AppFolio,
Yardi (or other industry-based software)
- Familiarity with
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must have own vehicle,
current drivers- license and basic liability insurance coverage
