The primary contributions of the Asset Manager at Overland Property Group are to ensure the viability of 30+ properties across 5 states. This person must be a detail driven problem solver with an excellent ability to communicate. The Asset Manager will lead multi-family affordable assets through multiple channels, to maintain and grow their facilities in a professional manner that meets OPG standards. To be successful, the Asset Manager must be a person that is proactive and takes ownership of their role. Whether located in our office in Salina, KS office or working remotely the right candidate will be able to communicate daily via email, phone, video chat, and other electronic means of communication.
The Asset Manager will work directly with all facets of property management oversight at Overland Property Group. This person is directly responsible for ensuring onsite policies and practices to maintain our established communities to the highest standards. This role includes a wide range of tasks related to asset management of stabilized properties including but not limited to: monitoring collection of rents, property visits, financial review, leading weekly calls, compliance oversight, and ensuring resident safety, satisfaction, and retention.
5+ years regional property management experience, required
Available to travel up to 50% of the time
Must be available evenings, nights, and weekends for emergency coordination
CAM, CAPS, or other property management certification, required
Bachelor degree, preferred
Expertise with Microsoft Excel, required
Experience with property management software program (Yardi, OneSite, etc.)
