Description


Rainbow International of Central Oregon is a full-service disaster restoration company looking for an experienced Water Restoration Technician.  Experience in a similar type role is preferred, but not required.  We are currently seeking an action-oriented, practical, problem-solver who can ask the right questions to quickly diagnose and help resolve the customer's issue.  It is important that this person document the right information for a complete and thorough report with each client.

Our IICRC-certified technicians respond urgently to remediate structural damage from fire, smoke, mold, and water. We also perform any reconstruction needed to get our customers back to pre-loss condition as soon as possible, for start-to-finish restoration.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently follow Rainbow International-s 17 Steps of World Class Customer Service
  • Effectively perform all water damage mitigation and restoration services the company offers
  • Determine the sequence of steps to be taken when delivering the company-s services at the customer-s property
  • Communicate timely and effectively with customers
  • Maintain timely and effective communication and flow of information with Lead Technicians, Supervisors and Managers
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance
  • Properly document water mitigation files
  • Inspect completed work
  • Complete technician-s daily log
  • Complete work order
  • Complete appropriate restoration documentation
  • Maintain inventory, materials, tools and supplies
  • Follow Rainbow dress code/uniform policy

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work 40-hour weeks, full time (7:30a-4p)
  • Must be able to lift 75-80 lbs. without assistance
  • Must have a valid driver-s license
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must complete certification process
Note on Work Conditions: may include properties and facilities where standing water and sewage are present, heat is unavailable due to lack of utilities, fire damage has occurred, and mold or other organic growth exists.
