Kruse Plumbing is looking for a team member who takes pride in seeing the results of a job well done. We are looking for an Estimator/Project Manager who understands that jobs can be challenging and look forward to that challenge. We don-t only want to fix a problem our customers have, but we want to leave the job better than it was before.

 Qualified candidates will know how to successfully bid & manage jobs, lead a team, and communicate well with customers and vendors. Candidates will have strong knowledge of plumbing systems, parts, and design.

The scope of work performed for this position will be bidding an approximate range of $50,000 and less for residential remodels to large commercial tenant improvements. There is growth opportunity to advance to bidding and managing larger projects.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of an Estimator may/will include;

Deliver 5 Star Customer Service

Networking and bringing in new customers

Keeping the pipeline and forecast up to date

Be able to successfully bid jobs for plumbing

Participate in take-offs

Obtain bids from sub-contractors

Pre-construction meetings

Change Orders

Obtaining technical permits such as Traffic Control permits, engineering permits

Responsibilities of a Project Manager may/will include;

Scheduling the jobs and ensuring it is communicated to the techs and customers

Manage the punch list and closeout process through completion of the job customer

Ensure that workplace safety standards are maintained on jobsites

Track job progress, communicate with customers as to the progress of their jobs,

Order job materials

Qualifications

The right the candidate will have the following:

A positive attitude with a focus on customer service

Experience as a project manager or superintendent in commercial and residential work

Experience estimating plumbing projects

Knowledge of trades, ability to analyze construction documents, and ability to read blueprints

Comfortable with a computer; Word, Excel, Outlook

Insurable driver license

*Licensed Washington Plumber preferred but not required
