Layers of Success

In the beginning, there was the CVI.

And lo, the Core Values Index assessment bestowed knowledge and understanding of the innate unchanging nature to the Individual, and it was good, and the people did feast in celebration of their new insight and wisdom.

But in their feasting the elders looked upon their clan and said unto themselves, "Now what?"

Archaic prose aside, despite the profound and powerful insight the CVI provides, it only goes so far with tangible, actionable knowledge.

How does the Core Values Index provide real value to the organization? The next layer comes in the form of the Top Performer Profile™. The TPP classifies and characterizes the profile of the ideal candidate for a role. Applicants are organized and managed through an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and that is used to match applicant CVI profiles against the ideal target of the TPP. This results in a sure-fire, efficient, and cost-effective way to put the right people into the right seats using reliable, objective data.

And the business leaders said, "Great! We've got the right people filling the right roles."

And again they asked, "Now what?"

There needed to be something more. The Talent Acquisition phase was nailed down and rock solid.

What about Talent Management?

Even if you're on the right track, a train will come and squash you if you just sit there. Forward momentum is required. Point your rock star talent in the right direction by giving them clarity about their objectives. Empower them with purpose. Let them know that what they do matters and their efforts are appreciated. Provide timely feedback so they can hone and sharpen their efforts.

Add the next layer to the formula for success: fuel your talent's performance.

Measure their engagement and subjective happiness. Measure their objective performance against metric-based short-term objectives and keep them on track with long-term goals.

The smart organization builds layers of success on top of the raw power of the CVI by putting the right people into the right seats with Top Performer Profiles. They organize applicants and rank their CVI profiles against the TPP with an Applicant Tracking System. They measure engagement with the Happiness Index, and they empower their rock star staff with the performance formula of clarity, purpose and feedback in the Performance Fuel application.

Where do you find these layers of success?

eRep.com, of course.
