The SEO
Manager will oversee SEO and strategy initiatives while doing analytical
research to help determine and optimize the content our web properties publish.

is looking for an SEO superstar to take our site-s optimization to the next
level. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEO strategy,
keyword research, and on-page and off-page techniques. In addition, you will be
a creative thinker who looks beyond the latest Google update and can develop a
long-term game plan to drive traffic and engagement.

Job
Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute
    innovative SEO strategies tailored to the specific traffic and engagement
    needs of Digital Trends and its stakeholders.

  • Develop strong
    relationships with editorial, IT, marketing, and other departments to
    ensure project deadlines are met and results are quantified.

  • Collaborate with
    editorial personnel to develop and perpetuate the content strategy as it
    relates to SEO.

  • Work closely with the
    data team to assist in analytics management and track the success of
    traffic/engagement strategies. Provide report data to other departments as
    needed.

  • Work with the social
    media team on content strategy to increase site traffic via social
    channels.

  • Perform keyword and
    analytics research to optimize/update existing content and discover new
    content opportunities.

  • Provide technical SEO
    analysis and create recommendations in relation to back-end development,
    on-page optimization, sitemaps, workflow strategizing, and other areas as
    needed.

  • Provide expert advice to
    the executive team and consultants in regards to SEO strategies, audits,
    and other initiatives.

  • Other duties as required.

Requirements


  • In-depth knowledge of SEO
    best practices.

  • BSc/BA in Marketing,
    Business or related field

  • 2+ years experience in
    SEO, preferably in a management role.

  • Experience with Google
    Analytics, Google AdWords, and third-party SEO tools.

  • Experience adapting SEO
    to a CMS in technical and workflow strategies.

  • Experience analyzing data
    and website usage through Google Analytics and other tools.

  • Ability to convert hard
    data into meaningfully articulated strategies.

  • Understanding of HTML/CSS
    and how it relates to website design, usability, and SEO.

  • Ability to think
    strategically and analytically to create and see strategies through,
    whether autonomously or in conjunction with others.

  • Attention to detail and
    the ability to multi-task.

  • Ability to meet deadlines
    in a deadline-driven environment.
