Our insurance agency specializes in employee benefits and we pride ourselves on providing a high level of service to our clients and prospective clients.   We are looking for a highly detail oriented individual with a can-do attitude to join our team as an Account Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Manage group health renewals and new sales implementation process by:
  • Tracking renewal timeline
  • Working with the Client or Prospect on preparing an accurate census
  • Preparing a market analysis for any applicable line of coverage
  • Facilitating any paperwork needs for client meetings
  • Processing and submitting complete and clean applications and enrollment forms, including renewal changes, to Carriers
  • Coordinating the delivery and receipt of plan communication materials to employer clients and their employees
  • Identifying new business opportunities and coordinating with Agents accordingly
  • Keep Database and client files up to date with renewal and policy information.
  • Maintain up to date comparative spreadsheets for all lines of coverage.
  • Track Carrier eligibility, benefit and network updates
  • Provide ongoing client support for assigned group accounts including:
  • Provide clear and accurate explanation of benefits, eligibility and contribution
  • Provide customer support in the areas of claims, enrollment and billing issues
  • Address other administrative issues as needed


Qualifications

    *Must hold and maintain Life and Health licensing

      *Must be insurable on the firm Errors and Omissions policy

        *Must be highly detail oriented and have the ability to multi task

        *Must be highly proficient in utilizing Outlook and Excel; experience with Wired Quote and ACT a plus

        *Basic understanding of the regulatory rules around COBRA, State Continuation & the ACA a plus

          *Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills

          *Must have a can-do attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment

          *Must have the ability to track tasks and activities through to completion
